The new Air Scout Scheme was finally launched on the evening of January 23rd 2010. The launching ceremony held at the International Youth Centre, Cheras, was attended by many top scouts, comissioners and chiefs. The training syllabus, along with the updated Sea Scout syllabus were given the "thumbs up" by the National Chief, Dato' Seri Haji Shafie bin Haji Salleh.

The entire syllabus, which includes schemes for Pengakap Muda Udara, Pengakap Remaja Udara and Pengakap Kelana Udara, is contained in three volumes. These books should available for purchase within the next couple of weeks for a cost of RM 6.00 each.

These books contain important instructions, guidelines and explainations to win badges and succesfully complete training. 

So, don't forget to get one as it is essentially vital for every Air Scout member.

Attention everyone.

The new Air Scout Training Scheme will be ready soon. This new syllabus is prepared by the National Air Scouts Secretariat for Persekutuan Pengakap Malaysia. We will also be organizing the Air Scout Leaders Course and briefing soon to best demonstrate syllabus usage and application.

Currently the training scheme is in its final stages of approval and hopefully will be published and eventually released by January 2011.
